Rise Learning is launching Rise Online.

Beginning Week 8, every Rise class will have a lesson video that students and parents can access. Students can review lesson content, while parents can learn alongside their child and help fill any gaps in understanding.

Rise Online provides even greater flexibility if students are unwell or otherwise unable to attend a class. Students can now attend our Mount Pleasant or Dianella Heights campus, or watch the online lesson, or both.

Importantly, Rise Online means students can continue to be engaged, extended and inspired in their learning.

These are certainly extraordinary times and there is considerable uncertainty affecting everything from supermarkets, sporting clubs, small businesses and schools, as well as people’s health and livelihoods.

We introduced stringent measures to keep students and teachers safe including temperature checks, hand sanitisers, regular handwashing and disinfecting desks after every class. If schools and learning centres are required to close, we will follow suit and move to full online learning.

On behalf of all our Rise teachers, please stay safe and well. Look after each other, especially our elderly neighbours and friends, and those who have lost their jobs. Things will return to normal come Spring, if not sooner.
